Gyan is Sanskrit for knowledge or wisdom and the Gyan mudra represents the connection between the Limited Self with the Universal Self. Connection with All That Is, gives access to the akasha and lifetimes of knowledge. It is often referred to as the wisdom gesture.
Have you ever had the feeling, when learning something new, that you felt more like ‘remembering’ rather than learning?
There is a deep familiarity with the subject, it’s almost effortless.
This is my experience of tapping into this universal wisdom or the Akashic records.
I feel we are transitioning away from a time where the intellect is admired, respected and celebrated to a time where gnosis, an inner knowing, or wisdom will be highly regarded and sought after, it will be our guiding light, just like the seers and sages of the past.
In a time where we have access to copious amounts of information, the discernment that comes from the heart will lead us to our truth.
“I looked in temples, churches and mosques… but I found the Divine within my heart” ~ Rumi.
